E-Mail• Electronic Mail, commonly
referred to as email or e-mail, a method of exchanging messages from an author to one or more recipients.
• Some early email systems required that the author and the recipient be both online at the same time but today, email systems are based on a store-and-forward model.

Social Bookmarking• It is tagging a website and

Wiki• “Wiki” is a Hawaiian word
meaning “fast” or “quick”.• A wiki is usually a web
application which allows people to add, modify, or delete content in collaboration with others.
• The encyclopedia project Wikipedia is the most popular wiki in terms of page views.
• WikiWikiWeb is the first wiki software developed by Ward Cunningham.

• A program made available in digital format for automatic download over the Internet.
• The term podcasting was first mentioned by Ben Hammersley in The Guardian newspaper in a February 2004 article.

• Enables people to use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls.
