• Email or “Electronic mail” is a method in which an author can exchange digital messages to one or more recipients through the use of internet.
Blog
• Blog which came from the expression “web log” is a discussion or informational site published on the internet and it consists posts that are arranged in reverse chronological order wherein newer posts comes first.
Online Chat
• Online chat may refer to any kind of communication in the internet. It offers a real-time transmission of messages from sender to receiver. It can be found in some social sites on the internet.
Social Bookmarking
• Social Bookmarking is a service that enables internet users to add, edit, remove, or share bookmarks of web documents.
URL
• Uniform Resource Locator or abbreviated as “URL” is usually displayed on top and inside the address bar of an internet browser. It is made up of characters that will lead you to a certain site.
Streaming
• Streaming is the transfer or delivery of data as audio or video in a continuous manner that will result into a playback on the computer.
Podcast
Podcast is an audio file similar to a radio broadcast and it can be downloaded from the internet. A user can listen to it by the use of computer, cell phones, mp3 players, etc.
VoIP
• Voice Over Internet Protocol or also known as “VoIP” is a converter that converts analogue signals into digital signals that enables phone calls over the internet.
Wiki
• Wiki is a collaborative site that contains information and it’s content can be edited by anyone who has access to it
Social Networking
• Social Networking is an online service that focuses on facilitating the building of social media and social relations among people who uses it.
WWW
• World Wide Web or “www” for short is a system of interlinked hypertext documents that may contain images, text, etc. and can be accessed with the use of the internet.
HTML
• HyperText Markup Language or also known as “HTML” is the language used for creating web pages and other information used on the world wide web.
Web Feed
• Web Feed or also known as “News Feed” is a data format that is being used to provide users with updated content and it can also be referred to as a syndicate feed.
