Wow! What a year!
A Program of The Momentum Group
We trained a wonderful group of Burmese refugees in basic job skills from the living room of an east Boise home.
Then we found…
We combined the land and the need to expand our ability to help those who
have the least among us in the international community?
We provided experiential job training AND created the Common Ground small-farm to function as
one of the experiential training ‘labs’ ?
We built micro-enterprise bases as an extension of the job-training—the
farm being phase 1?
We could create a sustainable model that promoted local, organic growing practices
while training our international refugee friends to enter and thrive in the U.S.
job market?
