WiWhen you’re looking for the best of the best, the Comfort Series 4300 casement windows can’t be beat! That being said, we are pleased to announce the addition of our new Comfort Series Wi.

This hi-bred product offers the durability, efficiency and warmth of vinyl with the beauty of a real wood poplar veneer interior. This allows customers to stain or paint their windows to match existing interior trim and casing.


SliderWe are known for building the best sliding windows on the market. With our long history of building this style window, we have perfected the performance of this window to the envy of our competition. The 6000 slider is tighter than many of our competitors’ best performing casement style windows!

No other style window can offer the overall value in performance and cost. The 6000 slider is our most value-priced window, but offers terrific performance with an incredibly low .04 air infiltration rate.

Single HungThe Comfort Series model 6100 single hung is a new generation window for Gerkin. After a decade of proven performance with our single hung, we found a way to make it even better! Here at Gerkin, we only make changes in our products to ensure better performance.

Double HungIf you’re looking for a lot of ventilation, but don’t want to sacrifice performance, take a good look at the Comfort Series 4800 double hung. The 4800 is quite possibly the tightest double hung made today.

Our double hung features a patented “candy cane” operating jamb stop which seals the ends of the interlock rail and the face of the lower sash with perfection! No other double hung has it. To compliment this patented performance, we have included three or more weather seals in every area where the sash makes a connection with the frame, including the interlock.

CasementWhen you’re looking for the best of the best, the Comfort Series 4300 casement windows can’t be beat! These windows perform and are rated at the top of our industry for air infiltration, structure and water performance. Our casements are tighter than some of our competitors’ fixed windows.

One of the most important features of a casement window is the operating mechanism, so we installed roto crank hardware with unbelievable leverage and power. The 4700 fixed window compliments the 4300 casement as a stand alone fixed window or can be used to mull fixed and specialty shapes to create custom configurations.



BaysWe offer a contemporary option in bay windows. Whether it is for a large living room, a breakfast nook or a unique bedroom window, Gerkin bay windows can offer the right touch of class! Our factory mulled bays include heavy corner posts with a ready-to-use cable support system. All bays come complete with natural oak or birch head and seat boards.

Bay windows give a unique look with a contemporary appearance and beautiful angled lines. Bay windows can have three windows in the opening with either side or front operation.

BowsIf a room needs light or a little more character, Gerkin fills the need with our bow windows! Gerkin factory mulls all bows with heavy corner posts and a ready- to-use cable support system. All bows come complete with natural oak or birch head and seat boards. Bow windows give a unique look with a traditional appearance and smooth lines. Bow windows can have four or more windows in the opening and offer several different projections for a custom appearance.


Specialty ShapesOne of the best ways to add flare to any project is to add special shapes. We offer numerous options in specialty shapes that can be customized and combined with other standard windows or shapes to create a stunning appearance. Along with our special shapes, we also have the ability to custom design and build internal grilles, which will offer the perfect look and character desired. Swinging and Sliding Glass Patio DoorsThe Comfort Series 6600 Atrium swing door and 4400 sliding glass door combine innovative styling and engineering for superb performance and good looks.

We wanted a door line that out shines all other swinging and sliding doors in weather tightness, ease of operation and long-term high performance. These doors feature unbelievable strength against the elements and are designed for maximum protection. Fixed transoms and side lites are also available for the 6600 and 4400 patio doors.


Wi Sliding Glass Patio DoorsOur new Comfort Series 4400Wi sliding glass door is a hi-bred product that offers customers the durability, efficiency, and warmth of vinyl with the beauty of a real wood poplar veneer interior. This allows customers to stain or paint their windows to match existing interior trim and casing.

Our second-generation door out shines all other sliding doors in weather tightness, ease of operation and long-term high performance. Fixed transoms and side lites are also available for the 4400Wi patio door.

Extension JambsGerkin offers a unique option of wood extension jambs which can be factory applied to your windows. This offers a beautiful way to trim your windows with many different wood options. We offer solid oak, oak veneer, pine veneer, poplar veneer and paintable prime veneer; all of which are ready to be finished. For pre-finished jamb options we also include white and tan vinyl veneer as well as legacy oak. Our veneers include waterproof adhesives on a moisture resistant composite core board which resists twisting, cupping, splitting and bowing.


Brick MoldOur traditional looking brick mold works great for either new construction or retrofit. This fusion welded brick mold has a nail fin for new construction applications and it gives the appearance of authentic wood brick mold with beveled and raised lines. Our brick mold also offers a great opportunity for easily matching and fitting the appearance and openings of older wood windows being replaced.

TestingWe go to great extremes to make sure our Comfort Series Vinyl window and door products are the best they can be. Our products are tested by independent laboratories to ensure quality and performance. Our windows and doors are rated and certified by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) and the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC). Our Gerkin vinyl windows also carry the Energy Star label from the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
