The roots of Whitney Commercial Real Estate Services began in the 1940s when Austin and Emma Whitney first developed real estate in Worcester, Massachusetts. As representatives of sellers and landlords, we use every tool available to ensure that as many people as possible are aware of your property. We submit each listing to numerous Internet portals which boast over 14 MILLION participants! We also have an eblast subscriber list of over 5,000, as well as a large social media presence. Each listing has its own custom brochure. We provide more exposure, which results in more offers and ultimately both the shortest possible shelf life and the highest possible price for your property.

Brokerage Services

We take pride in our services being equal to or better than that provided by franchise firms, even those in the largest markets. As a former franchisee, we understand the specific value of such affiliations, but firmly believe local talent supported by accredited activities and modern technologies compete at a global level. And, since about half of the brokers in our industry are smaller independent firms, our willingness to share fees also helps close more deals. Nationally, less than 20% of all commercial real estate transactions involve two firms; our ratio is closer to 50% because we proactively

market in our local and regional brokerage community, and split our fees 50/50 with those who procure our transactions.

We have formed many beneficial relationships across the U.S., including the CCIM Institute, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Organization. Additionally, our brokers are active in local, state, and regional forums in order to develop valuable connections to better serve our clients.

It is vital to note that we have a high ratio of individual accreditations with national and global organizations, which helps us to more expertly help you. We currently have three CCIM designees, another in candidacy, and two SIOR designees. These hard-wrought affiliations in actuality bring bigger global connections than franchises, so our brokers bring a lot of expertise to every deal. In addition, our whole company benefits from having these commercial leaders in our midst.
