A custom-made floor finish from Flowcrete - made up of a creative blend of color and texture – has been applied in just one weekend at Manchester International Airport, where over 21,500 sqft (2,000m²) of Flowfast Flakes have been installed in the Outbound Control Department located in Terminal 1.
Around 15,000 passengers go through Terminal 1’s Security Search Area each day, but the unique qualities of Flowfast Flakes mean the floor’s stylish design and appeal can withstand the high footfall levels.
Flowfast Flakes offers good slip resistance, can withstand thermal shock and impact, and is hardwearing. Its seamless finish alsodelivers a hygienic flooring surface that is both easy to clean and maintain in an environment that is used round-the-clock.

Flowcrete’s speedy resin system, Flowfast Quartz Scatter, has provided a fast track flooring solution for NASA’s Johnson Space Center based in Houston, Texas.
Close to 150,500 sqft (14,000m²) of the rapid cure MMA system, Flowfast, have been installed in all exterior walkways surrounding the Mission Control complex. Flowcrete’s state-of-the-art surfaces were also used in the Saturn One Rocket building, made famous for housing the Saturn One Rocket used to send the Apollo space craft into outer space.
Flowcrete was able to fully demonstrate the flexibility of its speediest flooring solution by creating a personalized and eye-catching logo at ground-level in NASA’s distinctive livery.
