IIT Delhi is Ranked No. 1 in Outlook Ranking of Engineering Colleges in India-2016

Commenting on the rankings, IITD Director Prof. V.Ramgopal Rao said that

"this is a reflection of the inherent research and academic strengths at IITD.

The top class faculty and an increasing focus on academic and R&D is what

makes IITD what it is today. We are charting our own course by building on

these strengths and hope to be counted among the top 10 institutions in the

world in the near future".
