One of the most powerful and sinister-looking pistols,this Spanish semi-auto military pistol was used in the brutal and bloodish Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).Almost fail-proof and of excellent design and high quality steels,has been in service since the year 1921,and was exported to the axis- allied of Spain in the WW2-and entered into service with the German wehrmacht and Luftwaffe. This pistol was very appreciated by the Germans due to his invulnerability to extremely low temperatures in Russian front and his flawless function.The ASTRA 400 also is the only 9mm pistol that accepts without problems all the 9mm cartridge types.This is the proving ground test report made by Spanish military commission before his official adoption by the Spanish Army.
