What happened when we
met the pirates?
• They was a boat with fisherman rowing their boat
“laboriously” across the river.
• They weren’t very good – their oars kept getting
tangled!
• One of them accidentally hit one of his friends with
his oar, who turned around and punched him
back!
• One fell out of the boat and the crocodiles looked
up – what a funny situation it was!
Think about what other details we could include about the encounter.
How did you do?
What other details might you include?
• They asked if you wanted to cross the river.
• Rambashi offered to take you across the river in their
“River Taxi”!
• They stopped in the middle of the river and tried to steal
all your money – they had handkerchiefs on their faces
and daggers in their hands.
• Are they smart pirates, or silly men who can’t even row a
boat straight – how would they be able to rob you?
