See the next page for the current prayer list. Take a moment and pray for those listed.

ONLINE REVIEWS MATTERHave you written one? Take a few minutes to write a review of your experience at Epworth through Google, Facebook, or Yelp. This is a way to let our community know about us. Let’s spread the word of what God is doing at Epworth and in our community. This is a way to connect with new people outside of Epworth.

WHAT’S HAPPENINGChildren’s Sunday School Web Conference - Our children are meeting via Zoom on Sundays, at 9:30 a.m., for Sunday school. Download the Zoom app, enter meeting ID 984 5243 5667, password, “jesusyall.” Alternatively, you can click on the link in our weekly e-mail or on Facebook.

Wednesday Devotion & Prayer via Zoom  - We meet at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday via Zoom. Download the Zoom app to your device and use the meeting ID 913 1858 5591, password “jesusyall.” Alternatively, you can click on the link provided in our weekly e-mail or on Facebook. A phone-in option is available if needed. I hope many of you will join us for this time of devotion and sharing.

Nathan Patterson/Wesley Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, July 30, at 10 a.m., under the porte-cochere with social distancing. You can bring your own chair or use a church chair. Wearing a mask is required. Join us!

Prayer Team Meets via Zoom - The Prayer Team meets each Thursday at noon. Contact Margaret Gosden via phone, email, text, Facebook, Messenger or through the church office to share your prayer request. All requests are kept confidential unless sharing is stated.

South GA Annual Conference - The virtual one-day annual conference session is Saturday, August 15, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. The following services will be streamed live on the conference website: August 8 - Commissioning Service, 2 p.m.; August 9 - Ordination Service, 4 p.m.; August 11 - Retiree Recognition, 7 p.m.; August 13 - Memorial Service, 7 p.m. For more information, visit www.sgaumc.org/annualconference.

STAY INFORMEDChurch Council Extends In-person Worship Date - Updated guidance from the GA Governor’s office continues to inform our decision to not re-open our facilities to in-person worship services until after August 11. We can expect further guidance closer to that date for our next step.

Online Worship Attendance Counts Live Viewers Only - The South Georgia Conference is collecting statistics for online viewership. It will not be counted for regular attendance, but this information may be used in the future. We can count only the number of viewers who are watching the service live during the 11 a.m. broadcast. If you are watching multiple online services as I am sure many people are, consider watching Epworth’s service during the live broadcast and watching others at later times. Thank you in advance!

Worship Livestream Continues - The videos from the past Sundays are available on Epworth’s Facebook page and a video and audio version on our website by clicking “Listen & Look,” then “Our Media Player.” We will continue to hold livestream this Sunday. Invite people to join us as we offer this content. We want to continue to bring resources that lead us in faithfulness and discipleship. You can join us by going to https://epworthumc.freeonlinechurch.com/live or on Epworth’s facebook page live at 11 a.m., with announcements at 9 a.m.

“Like” Our Church on Facebook – Our church maintains an active Facebook presence. You can follow the latest news updates from our church at www.facebook.com/epworthcolumbus. Use your social network to share events at our church with family and friends.

MISSIONSAugust Mission Focus - Wynnton Neighborhood Network. Our goal is to collect 300 items. Place items on the mission cart. Drive-thru drop-off will be Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, at the church. See the detailed list on the next page.

Look Who Has a Facebook Page - Wynnton Neighborhood Network! WNN would appreciate your sharing and liking their page at https://www.facebook.com/Wynnton-Neighborhood-Network.

Rose Hill & Casseroles for a Cause - The casseroles will be a year-long mission to support Feeding Our Neighbors at Rose Hill and to help those in the congregation who may need a meal. Pick up the provided recipe and large pan or two small pans from the mission cart. Make the casserole, return it to the church and place it in the freezer in the kitchen.

Tree of Life Memorial - Memorials can be made for members of the Epworth UM or Hamp Stevens UM Churches. The minimum donation for an engraved leaf is $50. Forms are in the information rack in the foyer or on our website. The tree is displayed in the narthex. Money received helps supplement the budget.

Sustained Giving Needed During These Times - Please remember to continue your financial support to the church during these in-person cancellations by mailing in your offering, bringing it by the church, or exploring our online giving at www.epworthumc.com/donate. Without the passing of the collection plate in worship, the convenience of in-person offerings is lost. We are always thankful for your faithfulness.
