Comic BookA book that uses pictures and words to tell a story.

Hero/Heroine The most important man or woman in a story, often has some ability that makes them special.

Villain The anti-hero,

whoever or whatever the hero is fighting against to make the world a better place.

Action Comics The traditional

super hero comic books. Usually has a hero fighting some sort of super villain.

Historical Comics

• Comics that tell a story based on something that happened in the past

Autobiographical

• A comic book written about the author, telling stories from the authors life.

Political Comic books that often

times make fun of something in politics in order to make a comment about them. These comic books are traditionally funny.

Comedy Comics•Comic books that are centered around making the reader laugh.

Romance Comics•Comics that tell love stories.
