E x p E r t t r a i n E r Dr. Zakaria Zaki Al Attal is a pioneer Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)” in the region. Zakaria is an expert trainer for the “CPHQ” since 2005 He conducted more than thirteen “CPHQ” preparatory courses

to hundreds of health care professionals. Zakaria works as an Independent Consultant

with the Joint Commission International (JCI). Zakaria is expert in implementing and introducing quality concepts in health care organizations. He is the director of quality and performance management of the Dubai Health Authority

(DHA-HSS). He oversees the quality, Risk Management, Performance Management and Accreditation Programs in the four governmental hospitals and specialized centers of the DHA. Zakaria got his PhD award from the University of Salford - Manchester- UK on the factors affecting the implementation of the JCI standards in UAE hospitals. He has a wide experience for 15 years in management and training health care providers in different working areas. He is a lecturer in the Dubai Medical College on quality and patient safety subjects. He is speaker in local & international conferences about Quality Management, Patient Safety, Health Management and Accreditation.
