Dear Parishioners,
This past Friday, we had our 8th grade graduation from our grade school. 31 graduates are moving onto the following high schools: St. Francis, Loyola, Cathedral, Holy Family, Immaculate Heart, Flintridge Sacred Heart, Notre Dame, La Salle, Providence, John Burroughs, Eagle Rock, and Clark Magnet. We are very proud of our graduates and the future that lies ahead. Our high school just finished school this past week and our grade school has its last day on June 14th. We are grateful to our parents and teachers for the support of their Catholic education here at Holy Family.
Today we begin our FOLLOW UP in-pew process for our “Building Our Future” capital campaign. Everyone will receive instructions. Everyone, regardless of whether one has made a commitment or not, will be asked to complete the cards during the appropriate time. Please continue to pray for miracles and the success of our Building Our Future campaign. The Lord loves a cheerful giver.
Next Sunday is Father’s Day! At the parish office you can obtain remembrance
envelopes for our Father’s Day novena which begins on Sunday, June 16th. If you have a child interested in summer school, we offer summer school programs at both of our schools. Please note that both summer school programs are CO-ED. Even though our high school is all girls, summer school is co-ed. The Grade School program is again six weeks (instead of four) due to popular demand. Please take advantage of our offerings!
We have a big construction project happening this summer at our grade school. Thank you for your patience as construction will be underway shortly. We will be replacing the fencing at the grade school. Praise God! That rusty chain link fence had seen its day years ago. In addition, the hardscape/landscape will be addressed as part of the new project, providing a brand-new, little kids play area, a cushioned Astroturf section, a training area for athletes, and some enhanced greenery. Once it is finished, it will make a huge impact on the campus.

Our parish commitment weekend and follow up weekend was completed in February. The pledges
we have received so far is 97,978. The amount paid is $45,225. Please make your pledged payment on or before the end of October 2019. Out of our 4700
registered families, 484 have made a pledge or payment. If you would like to make a
commitment but have not yet done so, please come to the parish office. You may also make your pledge
on line at OurMissionLA.org.
FATHER’S DAY June 16th
To honor all fathers we are offering a Novena of Nine Masses that will begin on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th. To have your father, or that of a loved one, entered on the list of those we pray for, please fill out the Father’s Day Mass remembrance envelope that is available in the parish office. The envelopes will be placed on the altar during the Father’s Day Novena of Masses.
