TIPS FOR THE DAY NEW HOURS! All Senior Day activities (except the Antique Tractor Parade and The Elvis Extravaganza) start or are in the Special Events Area located at the south end of the MODERN LIVING BUILDING, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Enter at gates 1, 2, 6, or 10 and catch one of the free trams which begin running at 10 a.m. Ask Trams to stop at Gate 3 or by the fountain on General Pershing Blvd to drop you off as they are the closest drop-off points to the building. Electric and manual wheelchairs are available to rent inside Gates 1/2, 6 & 9, while supplies last FREE coffee and snacks at 10:00 a.m. until GONE. Be early! Pick up your ticket at the prize table for a chance to win one of many exciting donated gifts. Therewill be multiple drawings in the morning, the early afternoon and then again during the late afternoon. Each session’s tickets will be discarded after the end of their respective time. So be sure you register again for both afternoon door prize sessions. Winners will be announced over our loud speaker. Check the winner board during each session. Special Notice: At the end of the evening, all line dance participants (you must be dancing) will receive special tickets for a chance to win unclaimed prizes.

No registration required. Step right up and don’t be shy! Gather around the stage and be ready when the ringmaster starts picking contestants from the audience. People will stand spellbound with amazement!

TAI CHI 10:05 a.m. & 4:10 p.m.

Learn the graceful and flowing form of exercise known as Tai Chi. Feel the calm wash over you as you develop and learn how to maintain a relaxed position while exercising and stretching your body. Love how you feel? Good! This form of exercise can be achieved with only 10 minutes of your daily time!

This event is hosted by The Oklahoma State Department of Health

THE OKIE STOMPERS10:40 a.m. & 2 p.m.

What do you get when you combine tap with line dancing? The ultimate toe-tappin’ clogging show by one of Oklahoma’s own, THE OKIE STOMPERS!

Step out and see if you can find the sideshows (exhibitors) who are surrounding our “Big Top”. Grab your sideshow program and a friend to marvel at the fun and exciting sideshows (exhibitors) that await you throughout the Fairgrounds. Once found, be sure to have them stamp your sideshow program! Fully stamped and completed sideshow programs need to be returned to the Out and About table under the big top no later than 4 p.m. to receive your 2021 collectable Senior Day t-shirt.

You’re at the Fair and what’s better than Fair food? Absolutely nothing! Food Row is just steps away from our new home and all the Senior Day activities. There are plenty of chairs in the air-conditioned Special Events Area in the Modern Living Building. So skip your way to lunch between shows and bring it back in time to enjoy the rest of Senior Day!

ANTIQUE TRACTOR PARADE Noon

Find a shady spot along the Whichia Walk median, the circle or in front of barns 1 & 2 so you can enjoy the annual Senior Day Antique Tractor Parade.

Wave and say “Howdy!” when the Oklahoma State Fair Senior Royalty, the Oklahoma City Indian Princesses, Miss Oklahoma State Fair, Miss Oklahoma State Fair Outstanding Teen and the Red Hatters “float” by. Witness the grace and beauty of horses and the Oklahoma Frontier Experience cast. Finally, be awed by the stars of the parade, the Antique Tractors, as they cruise along in iron-clad fashion.

PUPPIES OF PENZANCE 11:40 a.m.

This merry band of mutts will blow audiences away as they watch this brisk and energetic dog show set sail aboard a pup manned pirate ship.

COWBOY JIM GARLING11:10 a.m.

Mr. Garling, a native Oklahoman from Guthrie, returns for his fifth year with a guitar strapped on his shoulder and his genuine smile. Bringing cowboy-era music, classics from silver screen heroes and some favorites from contemporary artists. Fairgoers young and old will enjoy his incredible vocal style, remarkable guitar skills and little doses of history he shares about the songs.

CIRCUS COUPLES CHALLENGE12:35 p.m. (Registration 10 - 11:30 a.m.) (5 couples will be chosen to participate.)

Calling all couples! How well do you work together? This game will involve a series of minute to win it type challenges. The last couple to finish each round will be eliminated until we crown our Ringmistress and Ringmaster. In the rich tradition of Senior Day at the Fair, the winning couple will receive a VIP parking pass and a ride in the 2022 Senior Day Antique Tractor Parade. Additional prizes will be the cherry on top!

Be a part of the hottest show in town! The “Not Just Country Line Dancers” will show you the steps. So don’t sit down yet… you’ve got some dancing to do, and you don’t even need a partner!

BALLOON SCULPTING1:05 - 1:20 p.m. (Registration 10 - 11 a.m.)

We are a few clowns short of a circus and need balloon artists to get creative! Six lucky balloon artists will be drawn from registered participants and become part of the greatest show on earth. Contestants will have 10 minutes each to make the most spectacular balloon sculpture. The grandest sculpture will win a prize!

UNDER THE BIG TOP GAME SHOW2:30 - 4 p.m. (Registration: 2 - 2:20 p.m.)

Feel the magic up close as a contestant on the Under the Big Top Game Show. Join the circus by registering for this unique and wacky game show with gleaming and glittering prizes. Spectacular prizes donated by Arbor House Assisted Living and Memory Care, Bridges Health, and Interim Healthcare This event is hosted by Autumn Life Center for GeriatricBehavioral Health.

RIDER KIESNER 4:25 p.m.

Rodeo clown Rider Kisner runs away to join the Senior Day circus! Watch as this cowboy clown wows you with rope tricks, funny antics and balancing random things on his hands!

JUST CLOWNING AROUND1:35 - 2 p.m. (Registration: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.)

It is showtime and we need clowns! This is a team challenge. Teams of two will be drawn from those registered to compete in this clown makeup challenge. One will be the clown and the other the makeup artist. Each team will have 15 minutes to create the best clown face. Did I mention the artists will be blindfolded? Our special guest judges will determine the first, second and third place winners.

RINGMASTER’S LINE DANCE LESSONS6 - 7 p.m.

Join us as a travelling Ringmistress makes her way to OKC to teach you some fun line dances that you can take back home and be your own home town circus clowns! Instructed by Carissa Rone.

ELVIS EXTRAVAGANZA (Chickasaw Country Entertainment Stage) 7:30 p.m.

Year after year, this exciting show draws the crowds as Elvis rocks the house and the Chickasaw Country Entertainment Stage starts a shakin’. This competition is full of energy and color as the contestants compete to win this regional contest and move on to the National championship in Las Vegas! Come and cheer for your favorite “King!”

3 RINGS OF FUN5:50 p.m.

Join us for the final 3-ring circus of fun and chaos. Get yourself ready for lightening rounds of mini games with lots of giveaways!

ELVIS!5:30 p.m.

Elvis runs away with the Circus in his blue suede shoes! Get your Elvis on with Mike Black as he swings, sways and sings some of your favorite Elvis songs.
