DRAFTWhat is the Route 202 Improvements Project?

For many years, Jaffrey has been exploring ways to improve mobility and safety through its downtown area. Multiple studies, a charrette, and updates to Town plans have identified the dog-leg intersection of Routes 202, 124, and 137 as an area for improvement. In a partnership with the Town and consultant VHB, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation plans to examine ways to enhance this intersection. Once complete, this project will lead to better bicycle and pedestrian access and safety. Decreased traffic congestion along the Main Street will contribute to a revitalized downtown where local residents and businesses can thrive.
