JOIN TEAM BARGERON!We are excited. In April, we (along with our families!) head to Boston to participate in the 117th Boston Marathon.

We thank God for the opportunity, and want to tell you about some dear friends who will be coming along with us--in spirit...Lane and Emily Bargeron! This dear couple has agreed to let us run the race on their behalf...how FUN is that? :-)

For those of you who don’t know Lane and Emily... a little background. Emily grew up in St. Johns, MI and is the daughter of Jim and Debi Davis. Lane is from the state of North Carolina--son of Gary and Beth Bargeron. The two met while attending New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, MI and were married in May of 2012.

On December 26, 2012, Lane and Emily were in a severe car accident. Emily suffered injuries from which she has since recovered (Praise the Lord!); Lane suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). We praise God for the protection of Lane’s mind and the great strides he is daily making in the recovery process. It is a long road ahead, but they are facing each day like true champions.

We need sponsors! We are asking for a sponsorship of $26.20 dollars--a dollar per mile of the marathon course--with every penny going directly to Lane and Emily during this time of recovery for Lane.

Please join us in this adventure! We are compiling a list of every person who sponsors and will present this to Lane and Emily. We plan to distribute the list via Facebook, email, and snail mail--so everyone can join in the excitement of seeing how many participated! We are anxious to get as many sponsors as possible.
