Why the J-Zone?
• In the last 8 years, JCC membership has increased by 500 households;
• The JCC is out of space and has no place for children and families to be together;
• The JCC’s current Fitness and Recreational spaces and programs were designed for adults;
• Kids want to play and have fun! It is a natural need and prepares their bodies, minds and hearts for life;
• Video games, TV, and other sedentary activities have become a more convenient activity for our youth;
Why Now?
The J-Zone will:• Give the JCC unique space for programming;• Set the JCC apart from the competition;• Offer the JCC program space for our next 100 years;• Provide our families and the next generation of JCC
members with a safe, state-of-the-art, kid-friendly, fitness center and gymnasium that engages children in a lifetime of fitness;
It begins with the children, but it starts with you…
