(picture 1).

2. Take off the name plate for marking family name or room name, then

fix the name plate.

3. Fix the VP-D surface mounted wires according to the wiring diagram on

the back. Adjust the volume of the outdoor camera to suitable (picture 3).

A. SURFACE MOUNTED

1. With the hex wrench supplied, remove the screw at the bottom of the door station and remove the front cover.

2. Take off the name plate for marking family name or room name, then fix the name plate (picture 2).

3. Connect the wires following the wiring diagrams supplied on page 8, 9 or 10. Using the volume control pot at the rear of the door station, adjust the speaker volume to suit (picture 3).

4. Install the door station at approximately 150-170cm high from floor level. Do not install the camera facing towards direct sunlight or rain.

5. Fix the outdoor camera on the wall and then fix the screws (picture 5).

6. Reattach the front cover and insert the screw with the hex wrench supplied (picture 6).

6. Cover the top of the surface cover with buckle, then with the standard

hex wrench fix the screws (picture 6).

4. Install the outdoor camera at a height of 1.4m-1.7m, and make sure it

avoiding the direct sunshine or rain .

3. At a height of 1.4m-1.7m,dig a 93 x144.7 x38mm hole in the wall, and make

sure it avoiding the direct sunshine or rain (Picture4).

B. FLUSH MOUNTED


2. Take off the name plate for marking family name or room name, then fix the name plate.

3. At a height of 150-170cm, create a hole of 93W x 144.5H x 38D mm in size to fit the wall box in the wall. Ensure to avoid facing the door station towards direct sunlight or rain (picture 4)

4. Fix the flush mounted wall box in the hole, then put the outdoor camera in the flush mounted bracket.

8. OPERATING INSTRUCTION

MODE BUTTONPressing the MODE button allows the user to scroll through options.1st Press = System Info2nd Press = Internal Memory View3rd Press = SD Card Memory View4th Press = Time & Date SetupFurther presses will scroll though time & date setup.

SETTING TIME & DATEPress the MODE button 4 times to enter time setting mode.To change the numbers, press the BROWSE button.Use the MODE button to scroll to next section and BROWSE button to change the numbers.Once completed, press the MONITOR button to return to standby.

CALLWhen the doorbell is pressed, the internal monitors will chime and the image of the entry should appear.Press the TALK button to talk to the visitor at the entry.Press UNLOCK to release the door strikeTo turn off the monitor, press TALK button again

PICTURE MEMORYMonitors are able to record in 2 ways:1) Taking a picture when doorbell is pressed In this mode, pictures are stored in the internal memory. Approximately 80 pictures can be saved in the internal memory. Once it has reached full capacity, the oldest picture will be overwritten. To manually delete, press the DELETE button to delete a picture or press & hold the delete button for 3sec

to remove ALL the pictures Internal memory pictures CANNOT be exported to PC.

2) Recording picture automatically when there is movement in front of the door camera In this mode, the motion recording is stored in the micro SD card. Approximately 10,000 pictures can be stored on a 1GB card. The max size supported is 16GB. Once it has reached full capacity, the oldest picture will be overwritten. You can only delete ALL pictures from the micro SD card. To do this, press & hold the delete button for

3sec to remove ALL the pictures. To export SD Card memory, insert the SD card into the PC via card reader or adaptor (not supplied).

Open the video player software on the SD Card and select the .tag file to review the recordings. Individual snapshot .jpeg files can be saved by double clicking on the selected frame.

MEMORY PLAYBACKTo view recorded images, press the MODE button to the selected memory you wish to view (internal or SD Card). Use the BROWSE button to scroll through images

8. OPERATING INSTRUCTION

Press MONITOR to return to standby

MONITORINGTo activate the door camera to monitor outside, press the MONITOR button.To talk, press the TALK button.To deactivate, press the MONITOR button again.

INTERNAL INTERCOMWhen more than 1 monitor is installed, to call other monitors press the INTERCOM button.Other monitors will ring.To communicate, the receiver must press the TALK button.Press the TALK button to return to standby after conversation.

GENERAL PAGINGWhen more than 1 monitor is installed, there is a general paging feature.To do this press & hold the INTERCOM button for 4 seconds.An acknowledgment tone can be heard and a flashing blue light will be activated on the right side of monitor.All audio channels are now open.Press TALK to return to standby.

BABY MONITORINGTo enter baby monitoring mode, go to the monitor you wish to activate.Press Internal Intercom button to generate a call.Go to monitor you wish to monitor from.Press and hold the TALK button for 4 seconds.An acknowledgement beep can be heard.One way audio is now activated between 2 monitors. Press TALK to return to standby.

MUTETo mute a monitor, go to the monitor you wish to mute.Press and hold the UNLOCK button for 4 seconds.An acknowledgement beep can be heard and a blue light will be activated on the right side of monitor.When door bell is pressed, only the picture will activate without any call tones.To unmute, press & hold the UNLOCK button for 4 seconds until an acknowledgement beep is heard.

RINGTONE ADJUSTMENTPress and hold the MONITOR button for 4 seconds.An acknowledgement beep can be heard.Press the MONITOR button again to scroll through ringtones.Press the TALK button to adjust ring volume.Press UNLOCK button to confirm.

10. NOTICES

1. Do not install the indoor monitor in areas of high temperature or high humidity.

2. Do not install the indoor monitor directly next to or behind power points, light switches or near TV’s.

3. Always maintain 50mm separation between intercom cable and 240V cable.

4. Do not touch the monitor screen with wet hands.

5. Use only soft cloth to clean the monitor screen or camera in order to get a clear image. Please do not use dish washing liquid, cleaning chemicals or corrosive liquid to clean.

6. Please avoid throwing or hitting the units.

7. Do not install the door stations directly facing the sun. If installed in such a manner, a white picture may appear.

8. Wireless communication equipment may cause the image to be fuzzy due to interference from radio waves.
