COVENANT/ESTATE GUIDELINES If you are building in a new estate you may have developer guidelines in which your new home will need to adhere to. There will be a list of design and colour components which you should review and understand before attending your Colour Selection appointment. Please bring this information along to your appointment.

We will have copies of your plans and inclusions so it's not necessary to bring them with you.

If there’s a particular variation you’d like to discuss, please contact your Colour Consultant prior to the appointment to ensure we are best prepared to meet your requirements.

Prior to attending your Colour Selection appointment, you will need to prepare the following:

BRICK SELECTION & SAMPLE

Please make an appointment with one of the brick selection centers prior to your colour selection appointment to make your brick selection. Refer to pages 9 and 10 for locations.

Visiting a selection centre will allow you to browse various colour and texture options, and to view those bricks in larger displays so that you can visualise what they will truly look like when your new home is built. It is important to understand that brochures and websites don’t always represent the colour accurately. Please remember to collect a sample of your chosen brick and bring this along to your Colour Selection appointment.

Whilst at the Brick Selection Centre, make sure you inform a consultant that you are building with Sekisui House so they can show you our standard range and upgrade options.

Together with your brick selection, you will also need to nominate the mortar colour and joint style for the brickwork. Un-coloured mortar is standard and you may choose between flush or round ironed joints. You will be able to see the different joint styles and mortar colours at the brick selection centres.

PAINT IS A DESIGNER’S MOST POWERFUL TOOL. THE COLOUR YOU CHOOSE CAN DRAMATICALLY CHANGE THE AMBIENCE AND INTERIOR DESIGN OF YOUR HOME.

Paint can make a statement with splashes of bold colour, or it can be a soft backdrop to a more muted interior.

When choosing your paint colours, you can choose up to two internal colours from the Haymes Paint Colour Expressions range. One colour will be for all walls and one colour will be for all woodwork (doors,

door frames, skirting boards, window architraves and reveals). Please note: if you choose the same colour for walls and woodwork, this is considered as two paints.

Providing guaranteed coverage with a three coat paint system, all plasterboard areas are painted with low sheen, low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints.

In addition to your interior paint selection, you will also be selecting external paint colours for areas such as external doors, eaves, weatherboard, cladding, downpipes, FC sheeting and render.
