COLOUR CORRECTION GUIDE (Please make sure you have prepared your kit for painting. See facts sheet “Preparing your Kit for Reborning”.)
1. Vinyl Kit ColoursMatch your your doll parts to the closest colour swatch.
2. Paint and Sponge Wash Layers (Neutralizing Colours) to kitUse the MB colours shown here to neutralize your vinyl with the corresponding vinyl colours. Start with a light wash
(add water for desired strength), paint wash layers (then while still wet dab with a cosmetic sponge or similar to remove excess paint and prevent paint running... take care to dab in creases ears etc. Repeat until happy with the result.
PLEASE NOTE: Colour to water ratios are a guide only as kit colours vary... you may need adjust the strength to gain the best neutral coloured kit. If
you are not sure it is better to start with more water to paint and do 2 washes than start to strong and have to strip the kit back.
