CHSAA 3A State Tennis Tournament Welcome to Greeley, Colorado! We are excited to have you here.

May 11-13, 2017

There is always something fun going on in Greeley! Top-notch attractions and a friendly atmosphere makes this growing community of 103,000 a popular destination.

Greeley offers a wide variety of recreational and cultural opportunities. . o Get on the Poudre River Trail at Island Regional Park and head west along the Cache la Poudre

River for up to 22 miles. o Catch a movie at the Kress Cinema in downtown Greeley, or at the Cinemark at the Greeley

Mall. o Chipper’s Lanes is Greeley’s premier bowling facility. Play a few games for fun, or friendly

competition, try your luck at their laser tag arena, and arcade. o Visit the Greeley Mall or Centerplace for great indoor and outdoor shopping opportunities. o We offer excellent recreation centers. Visit the Greeley Recreation Center with a swimming pool

and rock climbing wall, the Family FunPlex indoor water park and miniature golf, or Greeley Ice Haus for ice skating.

o Explore the Colorado Model Railroad Museum -- the finest model railroad museum in the world. o Learn about the history of the old west at Centennial Village Museum -- a living museum that

depicts life on the high plains between the years of 1860 and 1920.

Experience Greeley’s charm. o Visit Downtown Greeley’s historical shops and brick streets. Check out some of our many

beautiful parks. Meander through the UNC campus or drive through the newer west side. Where ever you go, you will find warm, friendly people to welcome you.

Enclosed, you will find information about some of what we have to offer. For more information, visit us at the historic Union Pacific railroad depot at 902 7th Avenue on Monday – Thursday from 8:00-5:00 or Friday 8:00-4:00, or call us at (970) 352-3567 or (800) 449-3866.

Hopefully, you will come to Greeley again soon.

Sincerely,

Amy Dugan, Director Visit Greeley

Congratulations on making it to State!

We know you’ll be in Greeley for tennis. But we want to invite you to check out the University of Northern Colorado’s campus while you’re in town. Our seniors will have just cleared out, so enjoy having the run of the place and trying UNC on for size.

Here are a few ways you can explore:

1. Walk around campus with your friends or family. We call these “ninja visits.” Bonus points if you workin some ninja-style backflips (disclaimer: UNC is not responsible for any backflips gone awry).

2. Schedule an official visit at unco.edu/visit. This is the best way to get an overview of our programs andfinancial aid, as well as walk through a few residence halls.

3. Bring some discs and hit up UNC’s 9-basket Disc Golf course. Grab some Roma’s Pizza or Blue Mugcoffee afterward if you want to feel like a local.

Good luck in your matches! See you in May.
