Color Schemes
• Monochromatic: One color with tints and shades.Tint is when you add white, shade when you add black.
• Complementary: Colors opposite on the color wheel. An example is violet and yellow.
• Analogous: 3-5colors next to each other on the color wheel.

Color Schemes continued…•Warm colors rev us up and get us going. The warmth of red, yellow, or orange can create excitement or even anger.
•Cool colors are made with blue, green, purple, or some combination of these. Cool colors might make you think of cool and peaceful things, like winter skies and still ponds.
