ANNAPOLIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA (ASO): It is now time to sign up for subscription packages of 5, 4, or 3 discounted tickets and single tickets. The subscription packages are discounted 10%, come with a $20 gift certificate from Harry Browne's Restaurant, the ability to buy tickets for friends at a 50% discount. Subscribers can also exchange their tickets to attend the symphony on Friday night. ASO attendees now number 22 who have signed the ASO Interest Sheet. The plan is for each attendee to purchase his/her own tickets by calling the ASO office: 410-263-0907 or at www.annapolissymphony.org. The concerts are on Saturday nights. When you sign up on the ASO Interest Sheet you must put the dates you wish to go. The Interest Sheet is in the Trips Book next to the July divider and below our Masterworks flyer of the ASO dates on the Bulletin Board. For Collington Trips' transportation arrangements, the last four concerts are now on the schedule. Signing the ASO Interest Sheet does not commit you to purchasing a ticket. Ten residents are required to plan a bus trip. That will be possible if 10 sign up for the four dates beginning in November. For the first concert we will make our own transportation plans in cars,

No food or drink is allowed inside the museum, only bottled water. Be sure to wear your walking shoes, and all bags are subject to be searched! A sit-down service at the Mount Vernon Inn offers lunch or you can eat at The Mount Vernon Food Court Pavilion. DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION MUSEUM & THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR MUSEUM, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, WASHINGTON, DC: We will depart from Security at 10AM; the bus will drop you off at the DAR Museum. You will take a self-guided tour around the DAR Museum and then walk across the street (using C Street) to head to the Department of Interior Museum. The basement floor and the first floor will be self-guided. The Stewart Lee Udall Department of the Interior Building walking tour will be at 2PM and lasts approximately one hour and focuses on the history of the building and the Department via a selection of more than 40 New Deal-era painted murals, plus photographic murals by Ansel Adams. The tour will depart from the C Street lobby just inside the entrance at 1849 C Street, N.W. A museum guide will meet the group in the C Street lobby. Please bring a valid

Roof Work – Schedule to begin Monday, September 11th @ 8:00a.m. Scope of work to include the Apartment Building; the Community Building and a small portion of the Covered Walk-Way leading from the flower shop entrance to the cottages.

Elevators (side-by-side) – Schedule to begin Monday, September 18th @ 9:00a.m. Service Elevator – Monday, September 18th through Friday, October 6th. Passenger Elevator - Monday, October 9th through Wednesday, October 18th.

The Lake Project - in progress and moving along as schedule. Anticipated completion date middle of September.
