APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
You must be an ACCED-I memberCurrently employed in collegiate conference & events industry with a minimum of 3 years full-time (equivalent) qualifying work experience
or
Currently employed in collegiate conference & events industry with a minimum of 2 years full-time (equivalent) qualifying work experience and holds a bachelors or masters degree in field related to collegiate conferences & events

DO IT: Complete 2 of these 6 professional endeavors:
• Present a session at the ACCED-I Annual Conference • Present at an ACCED-I educational forum or regional drive-in.• Write and publish an article in a professional journal • Write and publish an article in ACCED-I CONNECT• Prepare an ACCED-I Task Group Report, white paper or project.• Participate in a CAS Self-Assessment of a Conference & Event

CCEP Workbook is based on CAS Standards• These are general criteria accepted by the Council for the
Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS).
• CAS is a consortium of over 44 professional associations in higher education, including ACCED-I, that develops, promulgates and encourages use of assessment standards.
• ACCED-I members were involved in writing standards for Conference & Events Programs.

RECERTIFICATION
To maintain the CCEP designation, ACCED-I requires all designees to recertify every three (3) years by completing requirements in education, experience and service. The three year period begins on March 31 of the year you receive your CCEP designation.
A. You must participate in a minimum of twelve (12) educational hours that directly benefit a collegiate conference and events professional.
B. You must complete at least two (2) professional endeavors.
C. You must serve a minimum of fifteen (15) hours of volunteer service to ACCED-I Association in some significant capacity.
Regular recertification by the deadline: The fee is $125.00.
