belmont CamerataThe fi nal concert of Belmont Camerata’s 26th season will be performed in the new McAfee Concert Hall. Touchstones of Romanticism composed by two young geniuses, Schubert and Schoenberg, were inspired by poetry and song. These early and late examples of Romanticism in chamber music will be brought to life in the spectacular acoustics of this new venue.

on The Verge (or The geogrAPhY of YeArning)*By Eric OvermyerTroutt TheaterFollow the adventures of three Victorian era female explorers as they travel into what they believe to be Terra Incognita, a new, unexplored land. Equipped with dialog as pithy as their helmets, they can accommodate themselves to any emergency, dispelling any charge that they are representatives of a weaker sex. As the ladies progress on their travels it becomes apparent that they are traveling through more than a jungle, but through a continuum of space, time, history, geography, feminism and fashion.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for faculty, staff, senior citizens and non-Belmont students, and free for Belmont students.

Senior CAPSToneS in reP* Black Box TheaterAll graduating BFA Theatre majors are required to present a Senior Capstone project designed to help the student transition from Belmont to a professional life. Students select a project to produce, direct, design or perform as well as overseeing all aspects of the production. This spring, three Senior Capstone productions are being presented in the round.
