The College of Music offers five fields of study for Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts Degrees: Music Performance (BM) Composition (BM) Jazz Studies—Instrumental and Vocal Performance or Jazz Arranging (BM) Bachelor of Arts in Music—Classic or Music History track (BA) Music Education—Choral, Orchestral, or Band-Instrumental (BM) Music Theory (BM) Music majors take basic core music classes in theory, history, private lessons, piano, and performance groups (music laboratories).
