●Ms. Gil, Registrar for Madison will be sending all transcripts through Naviance upon request.

●Public colleges (CSU, UC, e.g. SDSU, UCSD) do not need a transcript unless requested of you by the college

until May 1, 2020 upon your acceptance of admission. (letters of recommendation are not required unless

requested).

●Common application private schools will request a transcript, letters of recommendation (teacher and

counselor) to be submitted by your Madison counselor through Naviance after you have signed the FERPA in

Naviance and submitted your Common Application. (See Naviance for college requirements and details)

● Plan ahead, (3 weeks in advance) notify teachers and counselor of your plan to submit a Common

application:

● Ask for a recommendation letter, provide a brag sheet about yourself, and have your schools listed in

Naviance

★ Be sure to ask your Teacher or Counselor as soon as possible

★ You must request a letter of recommendation at least 3 weeks in advance

★ You will be asked to fill out a BRAG SHEET to help the Teacher or Counselor write the

best letter possible.

★ Brag Sheets are Due to Ms. Yesenia by October 30th. Needed for Letters of REC.
