Your Career. Your Future. In today’s job market, the more education and training you have, the more opportunities you will find throughout your career.
How do you balance going to college with the demands of your busy life? How do you get a quality education without going deeply into debt?
The answer is CCV.
CCV gives you the flexibility you need. You can attend part-time or full-time, take classes in person and online, and attend days, evenings and weekends - as they fit your schedule. Most classes meet just once per week, allowing more time for work and family. You can complete a full degree program or take a few continuing education classes to hone your skills or enhance your knowledge.
The choice is yours. Joyce Judy, CCV President

Whether school was previously a breeze or a
struggle, there is a place for you at CCV.
Our admissions process is easy – start by filling out
an online application. We are Vermont’s only open admission college. All CCV classes are small and
interactive, allowing our faculty to focus on
your success. You will never have a class in a lecture hall at CCV. Our average
class size is 13. Classes may be small, but you’ll
have access to all the support and resources of
Vermont’s second largest college.
Over 12,000 students enroll at CCV annually. We are the
most affordable college in Vermont, and
with our financial aid and grant options you may
have an opportunity to graduate debt-free.
CCV instructors are working professionals who
love teaching. You’ll learn from experts who
have careers in the subjects they teach and who
can share their experiences in the professions you want to pursue. Most of our students enroll
part-time. You have a busy life, but you can still
go to college. CCV will help you do it.

Join a Vibrant Learning CommunityCCV classes are vigorous and engaging, full of discussion and active learning. You will
explore subjects in depth, guided by instructors who live in your community and are
experts in their fields.
You will meet students of many ages and backgrounds. You’ll encounter college-aged
students who recognize the value of starting their studies at CCV before transferring to
keep their college costs low, mid-career adults finishing their degree to enhance their job
opportunities, military veterans making the transition to civilian life, and a cross-section
of students taking classes for personal enrichment. Regardless of who you are, your voice
will add to the learning of your classmates, and you will learn from them.
At CCV you can apply classroom learning to real-world experiences: you can travel with
a study abroad class, volunteer in your community on service-learning projects, or work
as an intern in a local business. Every project, every class, builds your skills and shapes
your future.

“The mix of students is really interesting. Sometimes I’ll go up
to the learning center and hear students from all over the world
talking about things; it’s really great to get to hear opinions
and the points of view from other countries.”
