DITTE MAIGAARD is a conceptual Danish designer with a passion for surfaces and story telling. She works in

the cross field between art and design and utilize her knowledge of materials, texture and colours to make art

& design objects with personality and character. She graduated with a MA in design from The Danish Design

School in 2010. Also studied at The Design School in Kolding (DK) and has a BA in graphics along with educa-

tion at several art schools and drawing schools. She lives and work on Fanø, a small island on the westcoast

of Denmark, where she oftens find inspiration to her work from splendid nature to the folkloristic culture life .
