Our Sponsored Walk: We are delighted to reveal that we raised £328 between our small group of walkers! We walked from our store

here in Monifieth to Broughty Ferry Castle and back. All

money raised is in aid of our Partnership Charities, Diabetes UK and The British Heart Foundation.

We hope to make this a yearly event and to walk much

further next year!

The Monifieth Befriending Scheme - Our Local Charity: We are continuing to work closely with our friends in the Monifieth

Befriending Scheme and are very much looking forward to seeing them in-store for their awareness day on Wednesday 31st August this year.

This month our Community Champion Richard and Checkouts Manager

Mandy attended the Befriending Summer Lunch where they both had the

opportunity to get to know the volunteers and the clients involved. It was a great eye-opener to the value in which this form of charity work holds within

our surrounding community. Our colleagues were made very welcome during the event and it was amazing to see the joy throughout the lunch hall, full of conversation and laughter.

Please find them on Facebook if you want to learn more about this incredible charity!

MONIFIETH SWIM CLUB

Swim Club Bag Pack: Monifieth Swim Club were in-store during the middle of June for a fundraising bag pack. The kids and parents

worked together to raise a whopping £467.36 towards their European Training Camp in October this year!

This is a fantastic example of how we can help local

groups within our community!

#Race for Life: Well Done to all the girls from the Monifieth Team who raised

an incredible £683 for Cancer Research UK whilst taking part in this years Race For Life!
