Comparison of Evaluation SystemsComparison of Evaluation Systems
• The evaluation system of e-Subject-matter is the part of the subject-matter currently available that is the least developed, so that the educational matter does not reach one of the most important goals, the support of the
independent learning.

Advantages Advantages of Computer Based Evaluationof Computer Based Evaluation
• Tests written well are objective.
• Tests can be corrected. easily and quickly.
• Tests can measure several kinds of students’ performance.
• Different media can be integrated in tests.
• Online performance measurements ensure fast feedback.
• Guidance can be integrated into test questions.
• On the basis of test results further learning activities can be ensured.
• By means of questions banks random selection of questions can be attained.

Disadvantages Disadvantages of Computer Based Evaluationof Computer Based Evaluation
• Due to the frequent use of multiple-choice test, it is linked with the measurement of knowledge rather than that of understanding.
• The preparation of good test sheets requires paper knowledge and practice, so in the beginning it is a time consuming task.
• The realization of a computer-aided evaluation system is expensive.
• High attention to hardware and software is required
• In case of web-based systems, safety problems can arise.
• Students need skills and experience in operation of computers.

MMethodological expectationsethodological expectations
• A series of check questions can be found at the end of each content unit – first of all to check paper knowledge.
• There are questions to be answered at the and of each content unit – to measure practical knowledge.
• At the end of every main content unit, there is an opportunity for self-evaluation Answers and feedbacks are given to every question.
• On the basis of questions there is a possibility to go on to the next step or step back under control - if I know the subject-matter well, I can make a faster progress, or if I do not know it, the program prevents me from stepping forward.

Particular realised systemsParticular realised systemsan own developed applicationan own developed application
• The multiple-choice method, which was developed from different written examination forms, is, possibly, the mostly usable evaluation system and it is increasingly coming in general international use, too.
• The majority of applications available on the Internet do not utilise the possibilities of the multiple-choice question types, and putting questions is limited to the application of a question type.
• That’s why We have developed an application, which provides possibility to utilise the multiple-choice system in every aspect.

The function and general The function and general characteristics of the programcharacteristics of the program
• This is a web-based multiple-user program.
• Questions are gathered at a central site, and they can be reused, so that test series of any number can be created.
• After the completion of tests the program evaluates the answers given.
• This application is being upgraded even now, and it is being integrated in the system of Moodle.

SummarySummary
The Evaluation Systemscan be found in evry teaching material, many techical solutions are known.
In the computer-aided evaluation the most difficult task is to make up the questions itself and to word them, and the examination and the evaluation of results are only a technical question. The task of tutors is to make up a good series of question, because an all-knowing test system is worth nothing if it is not filled up with proper content.
