Unusual job: George Brossard of Montreal, Canada, spends half the year traveling around the world in search of rare insects. He shares his finds with insectariums, or insect museums, including one he helped establish in Montreal. The Montreal Insectarium got its start in 1990 with a donation of 250,000 insects from his collection. The museum is the largest exhibit of bugs in the world, which makes Brossard very happy, because he believes it’s important to dispel myths about insects. He believes that people can learn a lot from how bugs live. “They know how to utilize life and nature,” he says. Bad decision: When a Pakistani doctor in the eastern city of Gujrat, in Punjab province, decided to buy a cow at the local market, he probably didn’t think about how he was going to bring the animal home. Then, he got the bright idea to pack the beast into the ambulance from the rural health center where he worked and transport it that way. Alas, health authorities found out what he’d done and weren’t impressed. Muneer Ahmad, an official in the provincial health department, said he was shocked by the doctor’s actions, and confirmed he has been suspended while an inquiry gets underway. Bunny heaven: If you like bunnies, then The Bunny Museum in Pasadena, California, is for you. Collectors Steve Lubanski and Candace Frazee have over 26,000 bunny- related items on display in the museum, which was declared the largest collection in the world by Guinness World Records in 1999. Sure, there are lots of plush bunnies, but there’s also wallpaper and wind chimes, phones, sheets, screen savers, and even a faucet. Lubanski and Frazee, who have seven real bunnies, call their museum “the hoppiest place in the world.” “And,” adds Frazee, “it’s one place where dust bunnies are welcome.” Smell the coffee: Trade fairs come in all shapes and sizes, from boat shows to home improvement exhibitions to craft sales. But there was one trade fair, held in October 2010 in Trieste, Italy, that made its visitors “wake up and smell the coffee.” It was called the Fifth Annual Triest Espresso Expo, and its purpose was to give all those in the coffee industry a chance to show their wares. There were exhibitors who export green coffee beans, small roasting company representatives, and makers of cups, saucers and accessories. There were presentations, seminars and discussion groups, all centering around the coffee industry. Trieste is the ideal location for such an event. For two centuries, it has been the main Italian trading port for coffee beans, and the city’s roasting businesses are known worldwide for their high-quality espresso beans. You might use your charm, humor, and a light touch to get your point across now, and your friendly attitude could make a favorable impression on others. Lucky numbers: 4, 7, 12, 15, 21, 24.

This may not be a good time to begin a new venture or try to expand your activities in any way. Patience and perseverance could be required of you now. Lucky numbers: 2, 4, 19, 37, 43, 49.

Mental work should probably be put off for another time, as your mind may be more on matters of the heart, or you simply want to think of lighter topics. Lucky numbers: 3, 4, 6, 27, 34, 36.

You could receive appreciation and a positive response from someone, and possibly an opportunity or personal contact which might be quite benefi-cial. Lucky numbers: 4, 20, 23, 25, 43, 44.

Your more conventional ways and habits of doing things may need reconditioning or updating in order to achieve your objectives. Lucky numbers: 3, 4, 6, 12, 21, 29.

You can’t stand being idle now, and you may be ready for challenging, intellectual activities and attacking difficult problems on the job. Your self-confidence could run high. Lucky numbers: 1, 9, 19, 22, 43, 45.

You may experience frustrations or setbacks to your ambitions (creative, business or intellectual) due to resis-tance from superiors. Lucky numbers: 8, 17, 25, 27, 41, 47.

If you have a lot of energy, a game of racquetball or tennis or some other fast-moving competitive sport might be a good outlet for you now. Lucky numbers: 1, 8, 9, 31, 33, 42.

You may read something that causes you to view life in a very different light. This may cause your mind to soar to a broader, more encompassing perspective. Lucky numbers: 5, 6, 7, 16, 17, 28.

Acting on your spontaneous impulses, and following through on some of your more unusual or “crazy” desires, could yield surprises, mostly positive. Lucky numbers: 8, 12, 21, 30, 35, 40.

You may be more detached from your daily affairs than usual, and you might want to step back and reflect on the overall course of your life. Lucky numbers: 6, 7, 19, 26, 43, 45.

Busy as bees: Bees never sleep. The buzzing sound they make comes from the rapid movement of their wings, which flap 11,000 to 11,500 times a minute.Likes ironing: Robert Plant, who used to be the front man for the rock group, Led Zeppelin, found it calming to iron his own clothes before he went onstage. For example, they can differentiate between 500 different shades of gray.Listen up: Headphones may seem like a modern device, but they have existed since 1920.
