Father’s Day Gift Stall - P & C Fundraiser - This year Father’s Day is on Sunday 1st September. The P&C are organising
a fundraiser for Father’s Day. There will be a stall at school NEXT Wednesday 28th August where children can buy a gift for $5.
We are asking people to donate gifts before this time, to the value of $5-$10. The idea is that gifts are simple and inexpensive,
however a thoughtful token of our appreciation. Homemade or recycled gifts (in good condition) are acceptable – it’s ok to be
creative! Suggestions of gifts include a potted plant, a book, an item for the toolbox (such as a set of allen keys), a photo frame.
Your support would be greatly appreciated - all funds raised go to the P&C.

Staffing at Coffee Camp - I will be taking leave from Friday the 30th of August until Friday 13th September. The Relieving
Principal during this time will be Mrs Lyn Parker. Mrs Parker has been part of our school team in her current role as our
Positive Behaviour for Learning Trainer and has already met the students and worked with all of the staff. She also comes with
a wealth of experience of teaching, most recently at Ballina Public School and Relieving Teaching Principal at Wardell.
We welcome Mrs Parker to our wonderful school.
Desley Banks is extending her leave and Caitlin Mason will be teaching the K-2 class with Iris Vos on Mondays to Thursdays during Weeks 5-8. Jane Varcoe
