Accessing the Intranet Go to www.cobornsinc.com, and click Employee Sign In.

Sign In User Name: 6-digit Employee

ID (You can find this on your paystub or obtain it from your manager)

Password: Birth date (MMDDYYYY)

Initial Sign In Questions Login User ID You can change your login ID to anything you wish (i.e. name, e-mail address, etc.).

Note: you will not be able to change your log-in ID again in the future; however, your 6-digit employee ID will continue to work.

Password You must select a new password that contains at least:

• 8 characters • 1 upper case letter • 1 lower case letter • 1 number

Confirm your new password by re-entering it in the box below.

Security questions Select one security question from each of the two drop-down menus and enter the answer in the box below the question. The questions will be used to verify your identity in case you forget your password.

Sign up to receive alerts You can enter your e-mail address and mobile number to receive alerts about urgent or time-sensitive news from your manager or the company. E-mail and mobile alerts can be enabled or disabled at any time in the future.

1. Enter and verify your e-mail address.

2. Enter 10-digit mobile phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx). Select your mobile carrier.

3. Select the checkbox that says you have read and understand the Messaging Terms and Agreements.

Click to enter the Intranet.

Navigating the Homepage Each employee has personalized Intranet content based on their position and level of access. Some links may be visible to you, but are not shown in this User Guide, while some of the links shown in the pictures below will not be visible when you log in. Many pages within the employee Intranet are updated multiple times a day, so the content is current and useful. If you notice an error or have a suggestion for new content or functionality to add, please send an email to Communications.Coborns@cobornsinc.com.

Home Click the Coborn’s, Inc. Intranet logo on the top left of the screen at any time to return to the homepage.

News Click or hover your mouse over News to access Coborn’s Ink, Company News, Employee of the Quarter, Image Center, Leadership Announcements, My Location and Suggest a News Article.

Schedule Hover your mouse over Schedule to access My Pay Stub, My Schedule, My Vacation Balance and Time Off Request Form.

Note: managers who use the WFM Supervisor Portal should click

Resources Click Resources to access a variety of company resources, including a Benefits Center, Community Giving, Company Directory, Customer Ideas, eForms, Employee Discounts, Employee Handbook, Employee Ownership (ESOP), ePay, Leadership Resources, Safety Center, Talent Management System, User Guides, Verisae, Wellness Zone and Planograms.

Departments Click Departments to access the departments that have content available on the Intranet, including Accounting, Claims, Communications, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Marketing, Pharmacy, and Training and Development.

Careers Click Careers to access the Career Portal, Course Catalog, Internal Application, North Dakota Job Fair, North Dakota Resource Center, North Dakota Volunteers, Resource Library and Internal Application. The Career Portal allows you to view the personal information in your profile, search and view all current job openings, and view and update your current/previous application history.

Connect Click Connect to access Employee Ideas, Fresh Idea Center, Image Center, Intranet Feedback Form, Intranet – Report a Bug, Tell it to Chris, a Disclaimer and Store Manager Advisory Council.

Tools Search Type a search word(s) (location, employee’s name, news topic, etc.) in

the search box and click .

Talent Management System

Managers and employees use the Talent Management System (TMS) to establish and track goals and performance. Access TMS from the Home Page.

If you need a User Guide for the TMS, you can find it by clicking the Resources tab along the top menu bar, then selecting Talent Management System, then clicking TMS User Guide.

Alerts Urgent news from the company or your location manager will appear at the top of the screen.

Click to read an entire alert. The alert will disappear from your homepage after it has been read.

Click to see past alerts.

News Click an article’s title or Read More> to read a full article. Click Archive to see past articles.

My Location News (top newsfeed) Your location manager posts news about your location, such as upcoming events, contests, and more.

Company News (second newsfeed) Companywide news such as store openings, announcements, and more appear in this section.

Coborn’s Ink Click View/Download Issue to download the most recent edition of the Coborn’s Ink employee newsletter.

Click to view and download past editions.

Setting up My Profile

Click My Profile in the left menu bar to change your account settings and view or edit your profile.

Account Settings Adjust your account settings by clicking My Profile (as shown above). In the left navigation bar near the bottom, click the Account Settings link. Here, you can change your password or security questions; add or delete contact information; and change or remove your profile picture. Additional links below Account Settings allow you to edit your Notification Options and About Me information.

Upload a profile picture To upload or change your profile picture:

1. Click Change Picture.

3. Navigate to the image file and double-click the file.

Note: if the file is too large, the Intranet may show an error message. Low-resolution photos work best.

Image Center The Intranet Photo Gallery allows managers across the company to upload, share and comment on photos that capture best practices for marketing, merchandising, driving sales, customer engagement, and more.

Accessing the Image Center Click the Connect tab, then click Image Center on the drop-down menu.

Viewing Galleries/Images Click on an image to open the gallery.

Click or press Esc to close the slide show.
