To whom it may concern:

We first met Dan Winkler and Jeff Parker, partners in CBC when we decided to build an oceanfront home in Melbourne Beach about 8 years ago. We had never heard of them before we made our big decision and found out that they were the builders on the project. Our friends said, “We don’t envy you. Building a house is a horrible experience and you will soon hate the process and your builders.” We had quite the opposite experience. Dan was very accommodating, to the point of working harmoniously with our out of state banker and making it very easy for us to purchase the property. Jeff was in charge of the actual construction and from day one we were impressed with his integrity, fol-low through and get it done right the first time attitude. When we wanted changes made to the plans Jeff never said, “we can’t”, but always said, “we’ll find a way.”

Near the end of the construction the area was hit by 4 hurricanes in a 5-week period, including one that produced 140 MPH sustained winds along our beach area. The house was hit with minor damage, CBC took it in stride, repaired the affected areas and finally we were able to move into our dream home we had so much fun creating with Dan and Jeff.

But, that was not the end of our relationship. Both of them had assured us from the start that they stood behind their work. True to their word when there was a problem, as with all new houses, we would call and immediately they would appear on site and quickly take care of it. We are stills amazed at their level of caring and professionalism. Their word is their bond and we trust them implicitly. We highly recom-mend them to anyone wishing to do business in a friendly, and honest manner.
