Coal Black and the Grotto Girls

Once upon a time, there lived a gorgeous man by the name of Coal Black. He was the heir to the throne of the kingdom of College. Only one thing would stop him, his roommate Sir Schmindalot.

Coal and Sir Schmindalot never got along from day one. Coal always had all the ladies’ attention and perfect black hair. He also played guitar in a band and had the best voice in all of College. Sir Schmin-dalot was extremely jealous.

Everyday after classes, Sir Schmindalot would go back to his room and talk to the mirror. He would say, “Oh great mirror, who is fabulous today?” On a normal day the mirror would say his name and Sir Schmindalot would giggle with joy. One strange day, however, all that was about to change.

It was a normal day in the land of College. Coal went to his classes and sang sweet music through the afternoon. All of a sudden, he heard another beautiful voice in the distance. Intrigued by the fe-male’s song, Coal decided to find out where it was coming from.

As Coal made the trek to the small village of Found-ers, he saw a beautiful, longhaired girl sitting under a tree singing to the birds. He said to the girl, “What is your name?” “Nicolio”, said the very puzzled girl. The two began talking and instantly clicked. Sir Schmindalot noticed the two conversing and was not happy and started to devise a plan.

Before the meeting with his minions, Sir Schmin-dalot said, “Oh great mirror, who is fabulous today?” The mirror began to shake and shouted “Coal Black is super fabulous everyday!” Suddenly the mirror shattered and Sir Schmindalot knew something had to be done.

Sir Schmindalot summoned his minions, Radio Man and Country Boy. After hours of evil planning, they had finally come to an agreement. They would chase Coal out of the land of College and make sure he stayed far away.

Radio Man and Country Boy wrote mean things about Coal on hundreds of papers and posted them all over the land of College. They knew once Coal would see the mean things that were said, he would leave.

The next day, Coal was going on with his normal routine. He put on his hipster-like clothing and went to his first class. Everyone in the land of College started at Coal as he passed by him or her.

Finally, two girls who knew Coal very well showed him one of the papers that Radio Man and Country Boy wrote. Coal was so distraught by what he read that he ran away.

After walking what felt like miles, Coal found him-self in the mystical land of Etown. He notices a ran-dom hallway with decorated doors along the right hand side.

Each of the doors had one or two names on them. Suddenly, Coal heard several girls’ voices coming from a secluded door. He opened the door, which had a sign that read “the Grotto.” Coal could not be-lieve what he was seeing.

All cuddled up together were 9 beautiful young girls watching “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.” They looked up at Coal and gasps began to fill the room.

Coal said “sorry to interrupt, but what are you names?” One girl stood up and said, “I’m Mama K and this is Bama, Prunelle, Lolo, Gem, Dee, Melon, Man-Man, and Udrey. Who are you?” Coal replied, “I’m Coal Black and I’m from the land of College.”

Coal and the Grotto girls talked through the night. He explained to them what had happened with Sir Schmindalot. The Grotto girls offered to let Coal stay with them. After thinking about this generous offer for about 5 seconds, Coal decided to reside with the Grotto girls.

The next few weeks, Coal would find out just what it was like living with girls. He never realized how much work they did. All of the mysterious objects that they all used in the morning intrigued Coal.

One day, all the girls decided that they were going to go shopping. Although Coal loved buying new clothes, he wanted to surprise the girls by making an amazing dinner to thank them. What Coal was unaware of was that Sir Schmindalot had found out that he was living with the Grotto girls now.

Sir schmindalot met with one of Nicolio’s beauti-ful friends and hired her to try and kill Coal Black. As former roommates, Sir Schmindalot knew how much Coal loved his perfect hair. Everyday, Coal would slick back his black locks with hair product. Sir Schmindalot made a poisonous hair product that would knock Coal unconscious.

As Coal was preparing the kitchen for the marvelous meal he was about to make, he heard a girls giggle. He turned around to find a young woman smiling at him. “Hi, I bought too much of this new hair prod-uct, would you like this extra bottle?” said the girl. “Of course! Thank you!” Coal replied. The young girl then went on her way.

Overwhelmed with excitement, Coal decided to stop what he was doing and tried out his new hair product. As he ran the liquid through his hair, Coal began to feel dizzy. All of a sudden, he fell un-conscious to the ground. Watching from afar, Sir Schmindalot realized what he did was wrong.

Just as the Grotto girls were returning from their shopping day, they all saw Coal lying motionless on the ground. They immediately dropped all of their bags and ran to Coal’s side. Just as the crowd-ed around Coal, Sir Schmindalot came running to Coal’s side.

He quickly pulled out his phone and called Country Boy and Radio Man. He mumbled words to them. None of the girls were able to understand what Sir Schmindalot was saying, but they hoped it was something to help Coal.

Within moments of the phone call, the girls noticed a beautiful young woman. At that moment, the Grot-to girls knew that it had to be Nicolio, the girl that Coal was madly in love with. The smallest and quiet-est Grotto girl, who had just woken up from a nap, texted the girls and told them that true love’s kiss would break any spell.

Listening to what Dee had said, Nicolio leaned over and gave Coal a gentle kiss on the cheek. Coal let out a loud sigh and opened his eyes. Everyone, in-cluding Sir Schmindalot and his minions, cheered and smiled in joy.

Sir Schmindalot apologized to Coal and they decid-ed to put everything behind them. Since then, the two have become best friends. Coal and Nicoloio started dating and have never been happier. As far as the Grotto girls, they continue to live like girls do at the end of fairytales, happily ever after.
