BRIEF OVERVIEW OF AGILE
THE SCRUM DIARY• Initial on boarding tasks focused on familiarizing
myself with the Agile design methodology– Team used Waterfall methodology during last co-op– Provided a unique opportunity since the entire team was
also adjusting to the paradigm shift.
• Communicated with Devery Sheffield, Niki Hoang, and the rest of the Global team to better understand processes
• Investigated Beijing JIRA and helped others to better understand the new issue tracking software
JOURNAL CITATION REPORTS TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE• Administered the HUB page for the Journal Citation

ENDNOTE PASSWORD RESET INTEGRATION• Acted as the technology lead for the tech story
• Investigated how the password reset functionality worked
• Communicated with the Endnote team to have the functionality implemented into InCites 2.0
LESSONS LEARNED• Ultimately my goals were met
• I saw a large amount of improvement in:– Time management– Communication and presentation skills– SQL and Database knowledge
• What I learned:– Agile Software Development– Beijing JIRA– Better uses of Shell Scripting and GET APIs
