CNIDARIATHE BEAUTIFUL WONDERS OF THE OCEAN

Why should you date me? I have cnidocytes (venomous cells) that I

can use to protect you. I’m radially symmetrical.

Symmetry = Beauty I have no central nervous system or

respiratory organs. Less worries. I’m very relaxed. I go with the flow, but

it’s not because I’m too weak to swim against currents.

Where can I be found? I live in aquatic environments, mainly

marine environments, and I can be found from coral reefs to arctic oceans.

All I require is water and zooplankton to feed on.

What are my favorite activities?

Provide the world’s most beautiful and productive ecosystems. (Coral reefs)

Sting things that get caught in my tentacles.

Deliberately injure myself and regenerate.

What are my evolutionary advancements?

What are some of my unique features?

Cnidocytes, the venomous cells on my tentacles

What am I looking for? Cnidarians only, but any class works Must be patient (I have a very complex

sexual reproductive cycle)
