Conference Background Our College is the member association representing Hong Kong in the International Council of Nurses. We aim to identify and examine issues relevant to nursing practice and health of the community as well as to contribute to the formulation & implementation of nursing & health related policies.

Top-rated featured speakers of the Conference will bring inspiration on the leading role of nurses to achieve the sustainable development goals and building good health and well-being for community.

Concurrent sessions and posters will be the platform to address these issues through developments in education and practice, leadership and regulation, innovations and technology, advocacy and human right, etc.

Call for Abstract

You are invited to submit a paper for oral or poster presentation to share your ideas, research, expertise or projects in promoting sustainable development goals, provide quality care, improve health care practice, policies and services or contribute to the discussion of nursing knowledge, and the leading role in building good health and well-being. Conference sub-themes:

1. Clinical Practice & Evidence-based Practice 2. Professional Development and Innovation

Requirements

The submission should consist of: 1. an abstract, in a length between 300 to 500 words, which include the purpose,

methodology, result and conclusion OR in the form of clinical cases sharing, AND 2. the full paper not exceeding 3,000 words on or before 31 October 2017 after the

abstract is accepted.

The contents of submission should: 1. address one of the sub-themes listed above; 2. be scientific, practical, current and relevant; 3. be precise, concise and coherent.

Authors will take sole responsibility for their views and must ensure originality of the paper.

Format

1. The layout of submission should be in the order of: a title, name of authors, work organization or unit, summary and content.

2. Submission will be in Word(.doc) file format, 12-point font size, Times New Roman style and double line spacing.

Kong” (Please mark the envelope with “CNHK Nursing Conference 2018 ~ Abstract Submission”) Deadline for Submission is 17:00 (Hong Kong Time) on 30 June 2017 (Friday) Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

Review of abstracts

All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of College of Nursing, Hong Kong (CNHK). Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the programme booklet. The list of accepted papers will be posted on the CNHK’s website on 21 August 2017.
