Dave Tippett, 59, became the Oilers 16th head coach all-time on May 28, 2019. Tippett enters his second season as the Oilers head coach. In his first season as Oilers head coach, Tippett led the team to an 83-point season and a 37-25-9 record, finishing second in the Pacific Divison.
