Data Communicaton: 1 outbound channel, 512kbps 12 inbound channels, including 8*128kbps operational channel, and 4*64Kbps backup channel
Backup to the broadband network: collecting observations and products from local weather centers to NMIC

• Total data rate: 8Mbps, daily broadcast data volume 25GB, + 2 MPEG-4 video streams
• New data service since 2007: Near real-time dissemination of FY-2C/D satellite images every 15 minutes to local weather centers
