Hello T-O!

My name is Morgan Hah, and I CANNOT WAIT to work with you all this year! I'm currently a junior (about to be senior!) at Monsignor Kelly High School in Beaumont, Texas, which is a convenient ninety minutes away from Houston. I am involved in a few other organizations, such as National Honor Society, Student Recruiters, and Academic Challenge. Outside of school, I am a member of the iRule...Dance Senior Company. In my Key Club-off time, I enjoy watching Grey's Anatomy and playing the ukulele.

I hope you are as excited as I am for the year ahead. Your dutiesas treasurer will be numerous and difficult, but with dedication they will yield even better results! As treasurer, I've set a few goals to work towards for the upcoming year: -Make the activities of the District Treasurer more accessible to the general membership.

From my experience, very few people know the true duties of the District Treasurer. Over the year, I will be releasing information about what I've done, such as a publication of the new budget. Be sure to keep up with your Lieutenant Governor, because they'll be passing on a bunch of new, important information for your job.-Create more resources for club treasurers.

Yes, you read right, even more resources! Keep your eyes open for a T-O Treasurers Facebook page in the near future, because it'll have a bunch of reminders and helpful tips. Soon, there will be treasurer resources on the district website, www.tokeyclub.com too. Throughout the year, I will also be doing special webinars to truly get to interact with all of you

and answer your questions right there! -Grow the membership.

The various duties of a club treasurer vary from club to club. However, all treasurers share the responsibility of ensuring their club's success. Since you are the officer with the duty of updating the dues membership center, I ask each of you to grow your clubs. With more members, you have the ability to perform more projects, which is more service that you are able to give to your community! It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your club pays your membership dues ON-TIME.

T-O Treasurer's To-Do List:

-Keep in close contact with your Lieutenant Governor.

Your LTG is there to help YOU! It is of the utmost importance that you stay in contact with them throughout the year, because they will have important information to relay to you. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask him/her! Even if they don't know the answer, they'll find it for you in a timely manner.

-Find room for improvement for the next year.

Are there enough funds to pay for expenses throughout the year, including District Convention and District Events? Could your club grow even more in membership? I challenge you to find areas for improvement within your home club, and set goals for yourself for this year. It is your duty as an executive officer of your club to make your club the strongest it can be!
