Sarge Jim fined all members who were not here to get fined last week. Brad Montgomery no fine for picture in the paper but fined for the 5 minute advertisement telling about the picture. Announcements: Rotary Elevator Editor Needed! After a year as Assistant Editor and two years as Editor, Rotary Elevator’s own Karl Colón will be leaving the Elevator (but not leaving Rotary) to free up time for the latest Colón arrival, who is eagerly expected in July. Please consider volunteering to run the finest newsletter in the land! See President Dale or Incoming-President Brad for details. Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. Jim Kennedy reminded the Club that the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is May 27 th . Tickets are $13, and please see Jim for details. Farewell Remy! The Club bid a fond farewell to Remy. After many months, multiple proms, and an awful lot of fun, Remy has returned home to France to study for his University entrance exams. Keith Sheridan introduced John Waymire, Board Chairman of TruPointe Cooperative Incorporated (a merger of Southwest Landmark and Advanced Agriculture Solutions). They have 50 locations, 500 employees and 4,400 members and 10,000 customers in 27 counties of Ohio and 2 counties in Indiana with headquarters in Piqua, Ohio. He showed a short YouTube video on who is going to feed double the population with the same amount of farm land in the future. Trupointe supplies customers with seed, fertilizer, livestock feed, fuel- oil and propane, grain marketing, and retail stores. See their website for more information http://www.trupointe.com . Jim Wyamire and family are the owners of Little Miami Flower Company previously in Miami Township and gave a program for Rotary about his transformation from grain to flowers.
