We take this opportunity to congratulate you for your nomination of Smart City Vadodara .

Ours is the oldest Lions club in district 3232F1 and 4th oldest in India and we have leading citizens of Vadodara as our club member who are doctors ,chartered accountants ,business fraternity etc.

We have many permanent projects including Lions Hall at Gadapura ,The Baroda Association For The Blind at Subhanpurawhere we have an eye clinic ,Ecomputercentre and physiotehrapycentre for training blind etc. ,The Baroda Lions Club Education Trust (administering Baroda High Schools ) Mother Dairy Milk Bank at Kashiba Children Hospital our club had undertaken mammoth task last year and had checked more than 1.25lakh citizens for diabetes,aneamia ,eyes related diseasesetc. Under the vision of the prime minister of India we have constructed many toilet blocks for girls in rural areas and many are under construction .We adapted Bhadarva Village to make it smart and have many health centres in rural areas .We also publish A guide to medical services in Baroda please note all our projects are golden jubilee projects and our club is into its 62nd year .

Our club members and all principals of Baroda High Schools are very excited to felicitate you and listen to your views about the smart city .

Dear Club Members ,

Greeting from your club president and team at the outset I take this opportunity to congratulate Lion Dr. Ashwin Shah and team for having taken the club to Pinnacle of social services and members satisfaction , we also congratulate Lion Gaurang Pandya and Lion Dr. Sunil Thakkar for showcasing the club as one of the best professionally administered lions club with all the highest level best awards received by the club from all corners including Lions Clubs International ,board of directors and all committee chairmen and heads of permanent projects and of course all club members ably supported them for achieving this distinctions .Installation function was also very well arranged with many social activities for the blind and street children and Masters Of Ceremony Miss KhushaliGaurang Pandya and Mr.SukrutKetan Parikh who did wonderful job kudos to all who took all pains for this event memorable .

2)Program ,Date ,Time and Venue:-H.D.H. MAHANT PUJYA SWAMI GNANVATSAL OF BOCHASANWASI SWAMINARAYAN SANSTHA will talk on MY FAMILY HAPPY FAMILY date 25th July 2018 Thursday at 8.15 pm sharp he is one of the best speaker at Lion Hall.

Fellowship dinner will follow program guests are invited we charge only for dinner Rs.175 per person

3)Service Activities planned :- Measles and Rubella Vaccination for Vadodara city ,measles vaccination is one of the core areas targeted by Lions Clubs International and we have been specially invited by the commissioner of Vadodara city for this drive and we will help them in achieving target of vaccination which break all previous records it will be administered to all eligible school children we are also invited by the district

governor Lion Sunil Patel to take the lead for this project and Diabetes check up ,eye check up drives etc. are also planned we will have mega medical check up camp at THE BARODA ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND dates time and venue will be announce shortly all members have to join this projects which please note .

Reminder for fees :-We request all members to pay their fees as per earlier circular amount is already informed contact club office for details .

New Member :-We welcome Lion Rupal Ketan Parikh as new member we wish her grand career as a club member

Members corner :-We also thank Shree G.D. Zalaniour verteran member who has been our member for more than 50 years and is going to New Delhi to join his family we will miss him and we take this opportunity to show our gratitidue towards him for his unparallel contributions to the club, we will felicitate him also in one of the above functions.
