What a wonderful way to start the holiday season! Sunday, December 2nd, a Christmas tree will be on display in the lobby with angel ornaments, each representing a child in need along with their details, sizes and gift ideas. Grab an ornament and share the love of Christ by helping a family in need. Purchase a gift or two for the child you’ve selected and drop the gift off under the same tree here at the church on or before December 16th. Please do not wrap your gift, rather, deliver your gift in a large plastic bag or box with the angel ornament securely attached so that gift can find its way to your child!

If you’re a student whose looking for an amazing weekend January 4th-6th at the largest indoor waterpark in North America, then look no further! Kalahari signups are now up and running! With David Nasser being the speaker for that weekend, you definitely won’t want to miss out on this event. We are only 6 weeks away and registration is filling up, so be sure to register online today! The registration price is $150 per person.

Students! It’s time to break out those warm coats and your favorite hot chocolate thermos because on December 14th at 5:30pm, we are going to the Columbus Zoo Christmas Lights! Make sure that you invite your friends because this is going to be a great evening!.

2018 is quickly coming to a close, which means that signups are now in the lobby for Secret Sisters 2019. This is such a great opportunity for the women of Delaware Grace to connect with one another throughout the year by anonymously blessing their selected individuals with birthday cards, remembering anniversaries and other important dates, but most importantly, through prayer. Signups for next year’s Secret Sisters will be out in the lobby for the entire month of December.

Discover Grace is coming up on Wednesday, December 12th at 6:30pm in the prayer room here at the church. If you’ve just started coming here, have been an attendee for a while or want information on how to become a member at Delaware Grace, feel free to stop by for this info session led by Pastor Dave. You’ll get to hear about who we are as a church, what our vision is, and have some of your questions answered during this class. We can’t wait to see you there!

What a wonderful time of the year indeed! We are so excited to share this service with everyone, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will be holding a 4pm and 6pm service Christmas Eve, just in case you can’t make one. This, along with the Sunday morning service on the 30th, will be family style and all children will be welcome to participate in the sanctuary with their families, as no childcare will be available either day.

Impact partner – Flaningan Family

Our Impact Partners for December are Josh and Rachel Flaningan. Their hearts have been with the African people for many years. Having received God's blessing, they were able to visit Cameroon several years ago, receive missionary training in France, and have made Yaounde, Cameroon their permanent home. Their young family consists of Emily, Roy, Camille, and Haava. Josh is a certified car mechanic and is using those skills to run "Shop of the Soul,” where he trains men to have this skill as well as using this opportunity to lead them to Christ & disciple them. Josh also lends his mechanic knowledge to help other missionary agencies. Rachel enjoys studying with a ladies group, being involved with their local church, and being a homeschooling mother. 

Josh shared the following report in a recent letter: 

Let's celebrate! Shop of the Soul has completed its first year of training! We praise the Lord for what He has done, is doing, and will do in our partnership. Together we are strengthening His church through the discipleship ministry we call Shop of the Soul. You should feel proud that we have accomplished so much. Without your prayers, encouragement, and financial gifts, we would not have made it this far. It has been a joy to live each day sharing the Truth found within the pages of the Bible. It's been a blessing helping these young men understand the Truth waiting to be discovered. Most of them had never read a full chapter of the bible until we started. There have also been so many firsts when it comes to their skills as a mechanic. It makes me excited to see how far they will go with another year of training!
