A Note from Your Agent
4-H Recruiting
Clover Corner
Wow, the summer break is just about over and it’s back to school
time already! I would like to thank youth and volunteers for your
hard work, commitment and participation in practices, club con-
gress, project achievement day, cook-out contests, horse shows,
horse photography, shooting sports, Co-op tour, record books, State
4-H Ambassador - National Conference interviews, 1-day CAFB
Stem Camp, sewing, cooking, and 4-H Fun Day. As the school year
begins, continue to “Make the Best Better,” by staying involved in
4-H activities. I wish each of you a safe and great academic year!
Yours in 4-H,
Sharon S. Patrick
MSU Extension Agent II
Thanks again to all who assisted with the
4-H Fun Day in an effort to recruit youth and
adults for our program. We have received
over 50 new enrollment applications. Let’s
not stop there! Please ask friends, family
members, and other youth ages 5-18 to consider joining
Lowndes County 4-H. Remember also to ask caring adults
who have a special area of expertise to volunteer or any-
one who loves to work with youth.
