Challenges

Many power breakdowns at ITI machine shop

Longest breakdown lasted 2 days

Many interruptions due to public holidays or missing teacher

Timetable had to be changed frequently

Setback: Principal of ITI Haveli retired the teacher after “Key holder” project

Construction of Pin Game

Drawings needed a lot of time to prepare from our side

High temperature in shop due to Indian summer season


Conclusion

Increased my vocabulary in English

Gained much practice in teaching and how to organize all around a project

Learned to cope with Indian mentality, and check if agreed tasks were done

Learned not to give up, if something is not working after the 1st time

Prices for food and beverage goes up during my stay in Pune

The azw – BCIN project was a great time for me. I definitely would do it again!!
