Robust Evidence of Clinics Financial CoachingBuilding Financial Security Webinar Thursday October 22 1 pm EST
A groundbreaking new study demonstrates that the Clinicrsquos financial coachingmodel and programs help low-and moderate-income people make progresstoward their financial goals by building financial security The milestone reportshows for the first time that financial coaching once viewed as an emerging fieldcan make a measurable difference in an individualrsquos financial well-being by helpingclients take financial control of their lives ndash resulting in improved credit reduceddebt and increased savings
The study entitled ldquoAn Evaluation of the Impacts and Implementation Approachesof Financial Coaching Programsrdquo was led by the Urban Institute The two-partstudy involved a randomized control trial commissioned by the ConsumerFinancial Protection Bureau and a companion evaluation of programimplementation funded by the Annie E Casey Foundation Over the course ofthree years (2012-2015) the study evaluated participants in programs at the Clinicin New York City and Branches in Miami
The Clinicrsquos financial coaching strategies tested in the study which are nowavailable publicly via Change Machine were shown to increase the likelihood thatparticipants would set a budget and reduce overall mental stress caused by

Robust Evidence of Clinics Financial CoachingBuilding Financial Security Webinar Thursday October 22 1 pm EST
A groundbreaking new study demonstrates that the Clinicrsquos financial coachingmodel and programs help low-and moderate-income people make progresstoward their financial goals by building financial security The milestone reportshows for the first time that financial coaching once viewed as an emerging fieldcan make a measurable difference in an individualrsquos financial well-being by helpingclients take financial control of their lives ndash resulting in improved credit reduceddebt and increased savings
The study entitled ldquoAn Evaluation of the Impacts and Implementation Approachesof Financial Coaching Programsrdquo was led by the Urban Institute The two-partstudy involved a randomized control trial commissioned by the ConsumerFinancial Protection Bureau and a companion evaluation of programimplementation funded by the Annie E Casey Foundation Over the course ofthree years (2012-2015) the study evaluated participants in programs at the Clinicin New York City and Branches in Miami
The Clinicrsquos financial coaching strategies tested in the study which are nowavailable publicly via Change Machine were shown to increase the likelihood thatparticipants would set a budget and reduce overall mental stress caused by
