My story. Then.

what they should look like. what they should sound like. what they should act like.

Who the world tells you leaders should be.

That wasn’t me. And that was okay.

Learning the Impact of Leadership

“A leader is a person who has an unusual degree of power to project onto other people his or her shadow, or his or her light. A leader is a person who has an unusual degree of power to create the conditions under which other people must live and move and have their being, conditions that can either be as illuminating as heaven or as shadowy as hell.” !- Parker Palmer, Leading from Within

What I’ve Learned.

Never Forget Who You Are. Sacrifice. Definition. Silence.

Prioritize ping.

“You actually become more alive. This is what stopping can do. There is nothing passive about it. And when you decide to go, it’s a different kind of going because you ‘stopped’. The stopping actually makes the going more vivid, richer, more textured. It helps keep all the things we worry about and feel inadequate about in perspective.” !- Susan Komnives, Leadership for a Better World

Leadership is Not Simply Outward Skills. (It’s an Inward Journey.)

There’s Power in Resilience. Embrace Your Journey. Power of Pain.

Sacred Responsibility. Finish Well.

Depths of Darkness. Brilliance of Light.

You Making a Difference In Other’s Lives.

It’s Not About You.

Strength in Differences. Embrace Truth-Tellers. Champion One Another.

True Growth. Healthier. Wiser. Richer.

Leave Better

My Story. Now. Inward Journey.

What Leadership Can Be. Passion for Kosovo.

And today, I am becoming the leader I was made to be – not the one others thought I should be.

Go Write Your Story.
