CLIFTON SUSPENSION BRIDGE CLOSURE AND TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR

THE BRISTOL INTERNATIONAL BALLOON FIESTAThe Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed on Thursday 10th and Saturday 12th August 2017 from 6.00pm until Midnight to all

pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.

The bridge will be closed at 6.00pm on both Thursday and Saturday of the Balloon Fiesta and will remain completely shut until midnight.

Evening closures during the fiesta were first implemented eleven years ago following concerns that the 150-year-old landmark could suffer potentially unacceptable structural stresses due to the sheer

volume of pedestrian traffic.

By Bus Catch the No.8 bus from Clifton Village Bus Stop to the City Centreand then change at St Augustine's Parade for the Balloon Shuttle.

On Foot Ashton Court Estate is 30 minute walk
